Wedding dresses and wedding rings are very personal factors. It relates to the brides tastes, and is a expression on what kind of relationship the happy couple have. Occasionally this goes a bit overboard and the bride and groom decide to do something absolutely out there for the nuptials. That is a theme wedding.

We’ve all heard about theme wedding receptions. Sometimes their cool and other times they are the worst things since disco. In the movie “27 Dresses”, we saw a bridesmaid dress for a “gone with the wind” themed event. That bridesmaid dress was the huge and funniest thing I ever saw. However, in all of the wedding shots the wedding dresses were the most spectacular thing ever.

Maybe it’s true, the bride picks out ugly dresses for her bridesmaids to put on to make her look good. It is her day after all; she should be the center of emphasis. However, I wonder, how far does the theme wedding actually go?

I think it was one of my pals from a long time ago who said she desired to have a Star Wars themed wedding once. Now, it had to have been when we were very little so she like the newer Star Wars movie, so do not hold that against her. She wanted her wedding dresses and wedding rings to match the one Padma wore in the second of the new movies, have all of her guest carry light sabers, and wanted a small-scale Yoda and R-2-D-2 on her wedding cake. It would have possibly been the funniest wedding in the world if it happened.

Now, the newer Star Wars movie styled wedding may have been a bad idea, movie taste wise as any fan of the original’s will tell you. Though, at the time we thought it was the coolest thing since sliced bread and we had a fun time imagining it. The creation of themed wedding may be huge and it might not fit everyone’s taste, but I’m sure they are the funniest events that you will ever go to.
